Look Into Domestic Imagination

Look Into Domestic Imagination is a series of illustrations which depicts domestic spaces  in a fictional or imaginary world. It focuses on buildings, specifically homes, as a source of domesticity through signs of life without directly seeing the creatures that inhabit these spaces. It is made of two parts. Part one is the two-dimensional digital illustrations made through Procreate and Adobe. Part two is made from each of the three digital illustrations printed out and presented as three-dimensional models. This series is the intersection between 2-dimension and three-dimensional, digital media and physical media.

Self Portraits

Self Portraits were not made in series with each other, but were individual pieces sharing the same subject. Self Portrait 2023 focuses on the identity of the artists told through their body and clothes, with little to no focus on the figure's face as a source of identification. Self Portrait 2022 focuses on the artist's face illuminated in a way that emphasizes the contrast of light and shadow on the figure's facial features. Digital Self Portrait is unique in this group as the only Self Portrait in color; it is also the least representation by only depicting the face shape and eyes of the artist. Each self portrait is different and used as further exploration of the artist's interests and identity.

Study of Plastic Bags

Study of Plastic Bags was an experiment in illustrating elusive objects that easily change forms and details. A different drawing style was used for each of the illustrations. Naturalistic Study was made through a technique similar to hatching, but instead of building up lines, it builds up swirl patterns. Geometric Study was made by breaking up the folds of the bags into angular geometric shapes with varying values of black and white gradients. Line Study was made using a single continuous line, never leaving the page.
