Madison Coppedge is an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Currently achieving their bachelor's degree at Agnes Scott College; majoring in Creative Arts with a concentration in Visual Practices. While at the beginning of their career, they are interested in branching out and experimenting with their interests.
Coppedge is currently exploring themes of domesticity in ways that combine digital media and traditional media along with 2D and 3D. My practice starts with digital illustrations which are then transferred to traditional media through the use of printing. It focuses on how objects can tell a story without the need for a human subject.
Their work has been shown at the Dalton Gallery's Spring 2022 and 2023 Student Exhibitions, along with being published in the literary art magazine Aurora Spring 2023 issue. Coppedge has been commissioned to illustrate an educational children's book, along with designing advertisements for the literary arts magazine Aurora. They a member for the Graphic Recording group documenting the 2023 Women's Global Leadership Conference.
